November 19, 2009 Update -- LionHeart FilmWorks and Glory Road Productions in California have recently inked a three film production and distribution deal for three of LionHeart's feature projects: "THE NIGHTMARE", "THE BASCOM HOME GUARD", and "THE SOCCER MOMSTER".

The Soccer Momster Website"The Soccer Momster," written by WGA-Award nominee Jeffrey Rubin, is a modern-day Family sports fantasy feature, and potentially the first project to go before the cameras...

The Nightmare Movie Website"The Nightmare," based on an original story by John D. Pagano, is a new take on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow legend, placing young author Washington Irving as a participant in the true, nightmarish events in 1809...

The Boscom Home Guard Website"The Bascom Home Guard" (based on an actual event) is a Civil War story -- as Sherman's Army burns its way across Georgia, a village of women, left alone after the war has taken their sons and husbands, forms a militia with pitchforks and rusty flintlocks to defend their town.

For the slate, Glory Road's President and Owner, Michael Reymann is set to Produce and LionHeart's Kevin R. Hershberger is set to Direct and Produce. Filming for the first project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2010, and the plan is to shoot the three pictures nearly back-to-back into late 2011.

Update -- After spending most of last year working on more than a dozen other historical documentaries for a variety of companies, museums and networks -- it has taken an incredible amount of time away from this and other projects and it‘s slowing our progress on the 230th Monmouth and 145th Chickamauga DVD - We don’t want this to be the case, but it is. We don’t rush through our work just to get them out of the way - we have high quality standards, for sure. Both of these epic new DVDs, along with the new "Atlanta 145th" DVD will be finished and released through the spring of 2010 -- back to back. 2009 was gratefully full of some great work, and has really slowed us down. It takes a great deal of time and work to put together one of these DVDs, between 8 and 10 months (or longer), but we certainly want a complete, polished finished product once it's done. We really appreciate your patience!

COMING in 2010!

SHOOTING IN 2009!

"Pirates of the Atlantic: The Real Golden Age of Piracy"

Shooting on this companion to our "Von Steuben's Continentals" DVD (in concept) will take place between March and May 2010 in New Jersey and Maryland for completion and distribution this coming summer. This project will tell the story of the grand and legendary Pirates in mid-atlantic America from 1714-1716 - how they trained and sailed... what they ate, wore, and stole... their weapons and fighting techniques. Based on the most accurate and advanced research to date. This project should be ground-breaking. Look for updates and a trailer this April.
