Surrounded by monotony, Sam works as a motel maid. Each day she slips through the mundane, routine chores of cleaning after other people’s lives. A colorless life, until she unearths an old art box.

A dealer of modern and unusual art, Dhelia travels the country hunting for new artists for her big city gallery. When she drives to Nowheresville to check out a sculptor, her car breaks down and she’s marooned.

The sign says “Vacancy” at The Mystic Motel, but what Dhelia discovers inside will change both women’s lives.
