In
the fall of 2004, Kevin Hershberger was hired by Encino, California-based
Eleventh Day Entertainment to direct all of the live-action combat
and historical recreations to be used in the upcoming, 3-hour documentary,
"For Love of Liberty." This has been a project more than
10 years in the making, and Kevin shot for a total of 10 days on this
production with his own LionHeart FilmWorks-based crew. This epic
documentary will tell the true story, through original letters and
diaries, of African-Americans in the United States military from the
Revolution to Iraq. Kevin recreated scenes set during the American
Revolution... the War of 1812... the Civil War... the Plains Indian
Wars... the Spanish-American War... World War One... World War Two...
Korea... and the Vietnam War.
In an era of DNA commodities brokering and near epidemic infertility, cloning has become a fashionable procreative alternative for young couples with means. Only DNA meeting the high standards of the registry is eligible for cloning. Nobel Prize winning scientist and national hero, Nathan Clive Barclay, met those high standards and posthumously sired a clone from his preserved DNA. Unfortunately, all that genetic potential has soured in his clone, Clive (Scot McKenzie), Feeling that he is merely the residue of greatness, Clive sets out on a life long mission to destroy the reputation of his genetic sire through personal misdeed. After his most recent stint in the mental hospital, Clive is given a janitorial job at a debt consolidation company. It is here where Clive meets Marigold ("The L Word's" Leisha Hailey), the star telemarketer who is sleepwalking through life. Now Clive and Marigold must each decide how to respond to the forces that define them.
